FOLDED TAB

Create a clean fold to make a joining surface. Tape only where the parts need to stay connected.

LAP JOINT

Overlap two pieces so the joint has more contact area than edge-to-edge tape alone.

LAYERING

Add a second layer only where stiffness or reinforcement is needed.

BRACE / RIB

Add a folded strip or triangular support where a flat span bends too easily.

SAFETY CHECK BEFORE FINAL BUILD

I measure and mark before cutting.

I keep hands out of the cutting path.

I carry and store tools correctly.

I keep scraps and materials organized.
